Finally, here are some pictures of Deagan's little hospital stay. He hated it at first and was completely miserable, but then he got used to it and actually had some smiles. He was a little monkey in his crib! Anytime we had to do anything for ourselves we had to lock him in there. He would scream bloody murder at first, but then he found out that he could take his club arm and bang it across the bars to make music. Silly kid!
He's all better now and back to his crazy self. He was spoiled rotten in the hospital being held 24/7 and even getting to sleep with me (wouldn't go near the crib with the lights off). So now he wants to be held all the time and is having trouble sleeping in his crib. But it too will pass in time.
Jeff and I both went through the rotavirus, and we are just waiting for Olivia's turn. She spiked at 103 fever yesterday and again this morning. We took her to the doctor and she tested positive for a new strain of upper respiratory flu. Yes, I know what you're thinking, how the hell are my kids sick all the time! Answer, I have no idea! Dr. Carter said it's not us, it's everyone else. That people have a hard time washing their hands and covering their mouths, and it's getting all of the kids sick....and it's not just us, it's everyone! Grrrrr.
Anyway, we're all being treated for the flu and hope it passes quickly and then they are well for a long summer.
Oh yeah, and Deagan is getting tubes on the 5th of June....YEAH!!!!!
