I finally did it!

I finally cut Olivia's hair! WE were waiting for it to grow out...and waiting...and waiting. But it was just getting wavy and nappy. So we chopped it off last night and now it looks adorable. I'll post pics later:)

Bah Humbug!

Well the holiday season is finally over (well almost) and thank goodness it is! We had a GREAT time, don't get me wrong, it's just exhausting. There are so many people to see and places to go...it's just overloading. And not having our own home for homebase is difficult. We love staying with family, but you quickly miss having your own space.
Of course our children were spoiled. They had 5 present opening parties. And Olivia was the resident present opener- for everyone. She's a star! TANGENT: I saw on a E! special that the Beckhams (you know the soccer guy and spice girl) hired a butler to open presents for them....HELLO?!?!?! My two year old is available and I'd give them a deal for her services;)
Anyway it was a great Christmas, Olivia had a blast waiting for Santa and said she heard him that night. Then she woke up and magically got exactly what she wanted.
Now it's our last week of relaxation before packing up all of our stuff and heading back to Louisiana. That's going to be quite the trip!

Happy Holidays

The hockey game was awesome. Our seats were the best in the house!!!! It ended up being so cool to sit within reach of the opponets goal. All the action was right in front of us for the majority of the game. And most of the checks into the glass were also right on our corner. It couldn't have worked out better:)
We are having a great time downstate. We had the Nelson family Christmas Wednesday and the Ropac/Carter Christmas this evening. Olivia is just having a blast visiting with all of the family. (and the presents of course!).
I'll post pictures after all of the parties are done...
We hope you're all enjoying the holiday season and are finding time to relax with the ones you love:)

LIKE HOCKEY?

If you're watching the Detroit RedWings game tonight...look to the left of the away bench in the seats RIGHT ON THE GLASS and Jeff and I will wave to you;)
