Well not much going on in the Carter household. We're just trying to relax and catch up with the house after our wave of visitors has died down. Olivia asks me weekly if we can ride on an airplane today. She loves to travel and loves to see people that love her:) She is so smart and just getting smarter everyday! She remembers the craziest things that you wouldn't think a two year old would care about. Oh yeah, and if you're lost, she'll give you directions. If you're bored, she'll be your cruise director and tell you what to do;)
We were walking through Target (which we do at least twice a week) and passed by the electronics counter. She pointed and said, "look mom that's where we met Daddy's friend!" Ahh, yeah Olivia that was in December and in Michigan....and your memory pulls it out now, five months later after passing that electronics counter maybe 100 times since then! Woah!
Then we were watching TV one evening and there was a sports commercial with a guy busting out of a ball and he had on a G-shock watch (which is what Jeff wears) and she said, "Look daddy that's your watch!" She pays very close attention to detail. Even if I drop her off at school in the morning and change my clothes when I pick her up, she'll comment to me first thing. Somedays I can't even remember what I put her in!!!!! She's just amazing!
And Deagan is growing like a WEED! He grew 3+ inches in the last two weeks. He's outgrown 90% of his onsies, and all but two pairs of pajamas!!!!!! So much for pre-buying sizes for the summer! All since our parents were here! And he's crawling like a mad man, pulling up on everything! He has two teeth that have busted through the gums, and is eating crackers and baby cookies. He says "Momma" and in the right context. And he knows a handful of babysigns:) His infancy is escaping before our eyes! He's practically a toddler now:( Where did the last eight months go?
Jeff is doing his first (well not first ever, but first with the new bike) triathalon this sunday. Just call him the "Crawfish Man." HAHAHA! That's the name of the race. And we'll be out there, bright and early at 7:30am to root him on:)

This is just absolutely so much to digest! It's all amazing! And Deagan doing signs already? Geese! Time is passing wayyyy too fast!
Olivia is indeed a sponge (all kids are when they tend to pick up stuff they aren't supposed to!) ha
Love your detailed blog - it is so comprehensive and such a good update!
Love, GiGi
