Today was Olivia's KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION!!!!! Yes, that's right. Our little princess is going to school next year. I can't believe it. It all happened way too fast. My mind still thinks we are in Louisiana getting ready to take her home from the hospital. Flash forward almost FIVE years. And she is EXTREMELY excited to get to go to school! She talks about it daily.
They had a whole event set up in the high school gym tonight. When she walked through the door, they gave her a stuffed penguin with a shirt on that says, "Howell Public Schools- Class of 2021."
Isn't that crazy? 2021? I can't even process that!
They had balloons, stickers, crafts, tatoo stick ons, and bus rides! It was a real great event.
She is signed up for a lottery for All Day-Every Day kindergarten, she was 33 and there is 28 spots. But it's a lottery, so there is good odds. If she doesn't get it, then she will go three full days a week or every day half days. We won't know until about March 18th. Wish her luck- SHE actually wants all day (and we do too!).

2021 is coming up so fast, she will be 17 and a high school graduate...oh my gosh..... She was so excited it was fun to hear her tell all about her great day! I hope she wins the lottery if any kid was ready for all day Kindergarten it is this little girl!!!

oh my goodness. this is not possible. isn't she still a baby? i can't yet grasp that she will even be in high school let alone graduate. soon after she will be taking a friend's jeep with her friends to the beach, staying out all night, causing (minor) trouble, meeting her best friend in college....... ok. maybe it isn't so bad. :)
