Today we met with the specialist again in New Orleans. We had another ultrasound. He is one BIG BOY! Measuring in two weeks larger than he should be!!!!!! He's got a huge head too, just like Olivia did. We got a quick glimpse of his face, and it was big and round (like hers) with huge eyes and lips...again just like the picture that we had of Olivia in utero. We were so excited.
The doctor was full of nothing but good news. He said that the echogenic bowels are just about all cleared up! And that if he hadn't treated us before, then he wouldn't even be able to spot them now. THAT WAS GREAT NEWS! He's pretty sure that the little guy won't need surgery and will do just fine on his own....YIPPY!
Now we will go back to him once more in July for a last and final scan. And then it's up to the little guy to get it all together before he's born...in late August.
We are so happy. Now we can rest easy. We have everything we need to get his room ready too. (Thanks Moms)! Now we just have to get Olivia out of the crib and into her already-set-up big girl room.
