Breakfast with the New-Ter's

So when we drove into Michigan we were coming off of an all nighter. We left around 4pm on Friday after Olivia got out of school. Well it was a Friday, rush hour... and it took us FOR-EV-ER to cross through the bridge and the tunnel. Then by the time we got to the other side everyone had to pee, then it was dinner time, then it was this and that and BLAH we just weren't making headway! It was one long night, with one upset baby who had no idea why we were confining her to her car seat for such an obscene amount of time. Finally after midnight, she fell asleep. We pulled into my parent's driveway at 7am, just as the kids were waking up for the day. Thankfully, my parents took them for two hours so we could rest! Once we awoke, we drove to Ann Arbor and met Adam and Brynn for breakfast. There they gave miss Tess her super special birthday tutu (that we just LOVE). Memorable!

Jeff and Deagan catch the big fish!

Every morning, Jeff and Deagan would wake up with the sun and go out on the deck fishing. They were in search of the big fish... and on our very last morning in the house, they caught it! Deagan was so proud of his daddy and this fish, he was beaming!!! Jeff taught him how to properly hold the fish and then they released it back into the water.

Monday May 24th trip to Potter Park Zoo

Our trip to the Potter Park Zoo with my parents:)

Tessa's first birthday party

Here are a few pictures of Tessa's first birthday party downstate at the house we rented. What a wonderful day it was!!! Thank you to everyone who was able to come out and celebrate with us. Olivia had a great time with her old Michigan girlfriends too! And Miss Tess absolutely loved her party and all of the people!

Deagan graduated from PRESCHOOL today!

Yes, you read that right! And no, I can't believe it either. Little Deagie is headed to KINDERGARTEN in the fall. He's just such a little man and has grown up waaaaay to fast. We are very proud of him:)

Olivia's 1st grade musical

Me and my kiddos! I just wish we had asked someone to take a shot of Jeff in there too:( We need more family pics, specially when everyone is dressed all cute:)
Olivia, the butterfly!

Olivia had her first grade musical last week and she chose to be a butterfly. The kids were able to chose any "jungle" animal that they would like and dress up for the show. It was adorably cute, and we were oh so proud of her:)

Olivia loses her first tooth....

More haircut pictures... before and after.

Olivia lost her FIRST baby tooth... finally;)

Olivia has been waiting almost TWO years to start losing her baby teeth. In fact, she was the last one in her first grade class to lose a tooth! Well the day finally came! Her tooth had been 'slightly' wiggly for a bit, but it wasn't until she bit into a cracker eating an after school snack that it REALLY became lose. Actually bruised and bleeding. I knew the tissue was damaged and her tooth would be falling out soon... but I didn't think it'd be the same day. We went over to a friend's house for a few hours and on the car ride home she started squealing. I made her hold her mouth shut as we drove home and as soon as we walked in the door- IT FELL RIGHT OUT! Luckily, I had my camera right there from our photoshoot earlier in the day (when I thought it was going to fall out) so I got some great photos. She was SO excited. Completely, utterly, overjoyed! Her little prize possession got her a crisply preserved $2 bill from the tooth fairy and an ID bracelet with her name on it topped off with a tinker-bell fairy charm:)
Congrats Miss Olivia, Congrats!
