The new Kato-Dilks family! Little Jeffery Hideo Kato-Dilks was born 12/12 8# 2oz and 20in....and he looks just like his mommy (from what I can tell).
For those of you who don't know: Brian is Jeff's best friend that lives in Oregon. They met in Montana while "finding themselves" working at the Ranch. And that's where Brian met Allie too;) Jeff was best man in their wedding! We are so happy for the birth of their first baby...and so flattered that they named him after Jeff (major bragging rights)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRIAN AND ALLIE HAD THEIR BABY LAST NIGHT!!!!!! Little Jeffery (yes after Jeff) was born around 10pm via C-section. Weighed 8# 2 oz. (replica of Olivia's situation of being induced).

Cabin fever?

Ok, so maybe being inside for almost a week and not going many places will make you crazy. You'd think a trek in knee deep snow to the post office would be fun for a two year old...but it wasn't! Then maybe story hour followed by crafts at the library would do it....nope! Then maybe 'paint and playdough' day at her playgroup would satisfy this two year old...natta!
SHE'S GOING CRAZY!!!! She's running around the house like a mad woman, getting into everything and pressing our buttons.
Today she was jumping three feet high on the couch for about fifteen minutes straight, till finally I couldn't bear it anymore and asked her to please stop, and she said "mom, does that make me terrible?" I think she overheard her grandpa and I making reference to the terrible two's and that's what she came up with.
Then later she asked me, "momma, when is my 'Pairy God Modder' going to come?" and I said I wasn't sure right now, but what would she ask for....and she said she'd like to trade Maverick for a horse!

Olivia's quote of the day

From this Saturday at the mall's squishy play area:
"Mom, those boys are driving me crazy, they won't share!" So I said, "Well honey just go over there and say excuse me and then take your turn." So she did, she walked over, said "s'cuse me" and pushed one boy aside (gently of course) and took her turn down the slide:)
Yesterday:
"mom, I, I was born."
"Yes, Olivia you were born two years ago."
"No momma, I was born with a sippy in my hand, I love my sippy."

Olivia's quote of the day

Ok, so I've decided to start something new called "Olivia's quote of the day." Lately, she has come into her own little self with the most extensive vocabulary I've ever heard from a two year old. She says the most hilarious things...so I'm going to share.
For today: When I was tucking her into bed she said, "mommy, tonight please don't use the computer while I'm sleeping, okay?!?!" The computer is in her room and I've been sneaking (or so I thought) into there to use it after she's asleep, but I guess I've been busted- or have I? She's asleep right now;)

Visiting the real reindeer @ the science store in town. Olivia had a really great time and even got a 'snack' to leave out for the reindeer on christmas eve. And no, Deagan isn't that big, you can fold the arms and legs in half before you reach his in that snowsuit! 

Happy man, finally out of his snowsuit that is Waaaaaaay to big for him 

our snow...and we are supposed to get more and more all week:)
