Deagan graduated from PRESCHOOL today!
Yes, you read that right! And no, I can't believe it either. Little Deagie is headed to KINDERGARTEN in the fall. He's just such a little man and has grown up waaaaay to fast. We are very proud of him:)

Olivia's 1st grade musical

Olivia, the butterfly!
Olivia had her first grade musical last week and she chose to be a butterfly. The kids were able to chose any "jungle" animal that they would like and dress up for the show. It was adorably cute, and we were oh so proud of her:)
Olivia lost her FIRST baby tooth... finally;)
Olivia has been waiting almost TWO years to start losing her baby teeth. In fact, she was the last one in her first grade class to lose a tooth! Well the day finally came! Her tooth had been 'slightly' wiggly for a bit, but it wasn't until she bit into a cracker eating an after school snack that it REALLY became lose. Actually bruised and bleeding. I knew the tissue was damaged and her tooth would be falling out soon... but I didn't think it'd be the same day. We went over to a friend's house for a few hours and on the car ride home she started squealing. I made her hold her mouth shut as we drove home and as soon as we walked in the door- IT FELL RIGHT OUT! Luckily, I had my camera right there from our photoshoot earlier in the day (when I thought it was going to fall out) so I got some great photos. She was SO excited. Completely, utterly, overjoyed! Her little prize possession got her a crisply preserved $2 bill from the tooth fairy and an ID bracelet with her name on it topped off with a tinker-bell fairy charm:)

Tessa's first haircut
This afternoon, with the help of my friend, Veronica, Tessa received her first haircut.... and a bonus of her first lollipop;)
She sat perfectly still, silently obsessed with her lollipop.... and the "wings" got trimmed off into a nice little bob.

Our little baby registers for kindergarten...

Tiny little Deagan and Kamryn in front of the big kid school!Today we took Deagan and Kamryn to kindergarten registration at school. They got to tour the school and take a little bus ride, while the parents filled out oodles of paperwork. They were very excited, but to Deag it didn't make much sense... he couldn't figure out why he was going back to preschool tomorrow:)
March of Dimes Walk for Babies 2010
Back in November when Deagan started preschool here in Virginia Beach, he met his best buddy Kamryn. She's a spunky little miss who gives Deagan a run for his money! They are devoted friends who love each other like a brother and sister- and can fight like a brother and sister too;) But they always end friends! Along with precious Kamryn, we became great friends with her family- Lindsey, Derek and baby Drew. And it just so happens that they live in our sub!
Miss Kamryn Hope was born early 5 years ago and had a nice little stay in the NICU. Each year her family walks in her honor in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies. This year we were honored to attend and walk too! It threatened rain most of the early morning, but then the skies magically parted and we were able to walk. It wasn't too hot or cold. And it was great fun having Miss Lindsey Rae there to join us too... with her new little BABY BOY in her belly;)

She's getting so big! THIS IS OUR BABY!!!
Yes, she's 10 months old and climbing up the playset. And don't you worry, she can make it all the way up!!! (no, I NEVER let her, but she could!)
This is classic Deagan/Tessa interaction... he does something to make her angry and scream, all the while laughing because she's frustrated.

So I'm making dinner and have the fridge open while I'm getting out the things I need- Tessa walks up and grabs the bottle of chocolate syrup from the door. I didn't notice... She walked away with it upside down and dripping all over herself and the floor! Wish I had a picture! Deagan and Olivia were cracking up:)
