Hell Week(s)
Congrats to my wonderful hubby, whose couple of weeks- hell week- is done! He's been interviewing for a new job for over four weeks now. He had his fourth and last interview on Wednesday and Thursday he got the call that he got the job!!!! He starts the monday after Thanksgiving. It's a much better job with standard M-F 8-5 hours. Much different than what he's been going through at Quicken! It's a great step for us:)
Congrats to me (and THANK YOU BRYNN and mom) for completing my first solo-photographer hell week. This week was my contracted shoot at the kids' preschool. In two days I shot holiday and school photos for 78 kids and did two "family nights" where we shot 11 families. And a few days prior I did seven families at an event for my grandma's senior center. I survived the shoots, now have to photoshop all of the files and get orders processed....it's starting! And it's fabulous.
Thanks to everyone for all of the love, support and encouragement on my photography business:)
As for the kids, they are just getting done with a round of some virus that mimics strep...poor kiddos!

Sick...again!
Well I spent this morning in the Urgent Care....this time for me, Tricia. I had a 103.5 fever and just felt like crap for the last few days. Well this morning it all hit hard. Did any of you watch Dancing with the Stars? Where Marie Osmond fainted?
Well that's how I felt all day, like I was just going to fall over!
Turns out I have strep throat. It's a nasty little bug that debilitates my body! I've been prone to it for as long as I can remember! And this time I've got it bad.
The kids don't have it yet and I'm going to try and keep them away from it as long as possible. My fantastic parents are picking them up from school tonight and keeping them overnight so I can rest. Then taking them to school tomorrow. Hopefully by tomorrow evening I'll be feeling better- and not like I was hit by a bus!
...Or the kids will be sick as well as my parents!
p.s.- Yesterday was Jeff's birthday!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!!

Happy Birthday To Me!
Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthdaaaay to meeee, Happy Birthday to me!
It's funny how as you get older your birthday celebration means less and less to you! I mean it's exciting that it's my birthday and there's a little sparkle in my eye...but really it's lacking the hub-bub that it used to have. Maybe it's because we just got done having huge party for the kids and I'm just worn out on bdays. Maybe it's because I throughly enjoy seeing them sparkle that mine is lacking the flare. Maybe it's because I'm just too busy with "life" that I forgot to stop and enjoy it for a minute. Instead of working nine and a half hours I should have taken the day off and jetted off to the SPA for a massage and a pedicure?!?!?!....yep, that's it! I just went about this whole birthday thing wrong. Damn, too little too late! HA! There's always 27!!!!!
My wonderful husband did MAKE MY DAY by sending me a cookie bouquet (you'd think an English major could spell, but I can't!) to my work. The store wasn't open, so they left it at the scrap book store next door. They girl came over after we opened and walked in saying, "who has the best husband in the world?" And I yelled "meeeee!" Only to see that the center cookie said "To my beautiful wife." He's so amazing, and knows the exact way to my heart!!!!!!!!
Then I got to go out to dinner with my parents, jeff and the kids. To Dairy Queen....my choice! And it was great. The kids had a fabulous time and so did I :)

Sick...and not lovin' it!
Well it all started a few weeks ago with me getting a sore throat. Well I'm on my third week and I'm still sick! Sore throat, cough, froggy voice, throbbing ears and head....the normal allergy/cold.
Then, at Deagan's birthday party, he spiked a fever. The next few days it came and went every four hours. Olivia was fine. Then it got worse monday, so we took him in to the ENT specalist. (based on his past with ears). So he had tonsilitis (sp?) and was on antibiotics. Olivia was checked at the same apt and was "fine." Two days later, she's spiking the fever....bad. Take her back, they say virus, but still do a throat culture. Two days later, she has a bacterial infection (unknown) and is on antibiotics. This was friday. The weekend came, everyone was FINE happy and healthy. Today comes and BAM olivia has a fever and vomits all over her classroom at school! WTH? She's been on antibiotics for four days and she yaks? ...a virus! So she's banned from daycare for 24 hours.
Yesterday, Jeff (well I) broke his toe. He was on the porch taking to his mom and apparently leaning on the front door...when I opened it and he fell and bashed his toe. And I mean BASHED. Slashed the side of it on the cement step. Tore off the nail and blood spewed everywhere- gross and graphic.
So I've been sicky going on three weeks. Deagan is feeling better. Olivia is feeling worse. And Jeff hurts like hell:)
