A Sight To See

Olivia got out of her bath last night and did her usual 'naked baby' run, in which she runs crazy all over the house naked. She stopped to play a little. I was upstairs on the computer...and I heard her say "poo-poo" in a screamy oh no sort of voice. I get up and look over the balcony to see her Grandpa holding Deagan's burp cloth between her legs while running towards the bathroom! The poop was a coming and they were a running!
We all got a good laugh out of that one!
WAY TO TAKE ONE FOR THE TEAM GRANDPA;)

The Latest...

Hmmm, it's been awhile since I've actually written something- I know you all like pictures anyway;)

Things are going really well here. Despite missing Daddy all day everyday, we are adjusting quite well. Michigan is as great as I remember and I can't wait to be here for good!
We FINALLY FEEL NORMAL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I met a wonderful woman at the mall who directed me to all sorts of kids activities up here. We FINALLY joined a playgroup. Olivia was so excited the first day. They sang many of the same songs and we learned a few new ones too. They had all the kiddy equipment that they did in her gym classes down south, but all this is FREE. It's sponsored through a state grant. And most of the people have a two year old and a baby, so it's great for us:)

And then, we went to a music class for kids, free too, and Olivia just opened right up! She started dancing and jumping all over the place....and singing too! For those of you who know her, she's not that outgoing and more shy, but not this time. There is something about music that opens her up:)

Deagan is growing so fast. He's quite the little man, or shall I say BIiiiiiiiiiiiiiG man. He looks about four months old, with a face like a ten year old. He's hilarious. A momma's boy for sure! His reflux is ok, a little better, but not cured...never will be. He's started to talk and laugh (yes, laugh out loud) with HUGE smiles. It's so much fun. Olivia just loves to play with him. Although she still gets a little jealous when he's being held all the time. But my arms are big enough for both:)

Jeff is going crazy in Arkansas on a training trip. His cell phone kicked the bucket, and the insurance that we've been paying six bucks for every month for the last two years isn't going to cover it---because it's a malfunction (and the warranty is expired), and not lost/damaged/stolen---you're probably thinking well throw it against the wall then, right?!?!? That's what I said to the guy on the phone, and he said he was going to "flag our account for possible insurance fraud, and if we tried to process a claim they'd prosecute us!" So I yelled obscenities to him and hung up the phone! Grrrrr!!!!

Our house is currently being repaired, the roof is almost done. Then they'll start on the inside. It should be done in December, and we'll go back home for a few months after Christmas. YIPPY!!! And then move for good next summer.

We still haven't gotten a DIME from the insurance company, and they claim now to have never even started our file and we'll need to talk to our adjustor again to have her re-file. BOLOGNA!!! That's their latest stall tactic! JERKS!

FEMA is finally coming around (just as we start fixing our house) and we will be getting a trailer pretty soon. Not sure what we'll do with it, but we'll have it. It'll make a nice playroom, or guesthouse...hahaha!!!!

Alright, you're probably sick of reading this now, so bubbye:)

Driving in the car

Driving in the car is so much fun with a two year old, who's DVD player was broken at the time (yes, she might be spoiled, but I've got to have a little sanity).
I have a little child mirror that I have placed under my rear view mirror, so I can see Olivia and what she's doing. But I forget that she can see me and what I'm doing- specifically with my mouth, as in putting things in it!
So one day, on our four hour trip up state, I popped a piece of gum in my mouth. Well she lit right up! And then asked what it was, I told her it was gum b/c I had bad breath and needed something minty.
About fifteen minutes later, she said:
"Momma, let me see your gun!" I said what, I don't have a gun honey, competely forgetting about the guM that I was chewing. So she kept repeating herself. Finally, my dumb mommy brain got it, and she insisted on me sticking it out of my mouth every few seconds so she could see it:)
Then the next morning when I woke her up, she said, "Momma, you need some gum!" What a sweet daughter:)
