Today was Olivia's KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION!!!!! Yes, that's right. Our little princess is going to school next year. I can't believe it. It all happened way too fast. My mind still thinks we are in Louisiana getting ready to take her home from the hospital. Flash forward almost FIVE years. And she is EXTREMELY excited to get to go to school! She talks about it daily.
They had a whole event set up in the high school gym tonight. When she walked through the door, they gave her a stuffed penguin with a shirt on that says, "Howell Public Schools- Class of 2021."
Isn't that crazy? 2021? I can't even process that!
They had balloons, stickers, crafts, tatoo stick ons, and bus rides! It was a real great event.
She is signed up for a lottery for All Day-Every Day kindergarten, she was 33 and there is 28 spots. But it's a lottery, so there is good odds. If she doesn't get it, then she will go three full days a week or every day half days. We won't know until about March 18th. Wish her luck- SHE actually wants all day (and we do too!).

A Weekend Away

This weekend Jeff and I passed the kids off to my parents and the four-legged kids to Uncle Andy and headed up north. We were invited to a hang-out weekend by Prem and Cheridy (our wedding photographers). They are super cool people and invited us up to relax with more cool people! I'll post more later after the kids go to bed, but for now to satisfy all you blog addicts, you can check out Prem's blog. He posted some pictures already- (damn over achiever!). :)

Deagan's New Bed

Ok, so a few weeks ago, maybe sometime in January- We got Deagan a new bed. He's had sleeping issues so we thought a new cool big boy bed would do the trick. (it worked, kind of). He loves his new bed and it's super cool! They love to play in it, on it, and under it. And the tent on top keeps him snug inside and prevents them from standing up straight (and jumping, and falling out, and basically hurting themselves).
