I've tried to explain to some of you just how enormous the tree is in my grandparents backyard, but unless you've seen it, you can't really imagine it. So here's a visual:)
Last week I was doing laundry and putting it all away. I noticed that in just one load I had more than five socks of Olivia's that did not have a pair...out of just one load! So I decided to dig through her sock and underwear drawer to see what others I could find. The good news was I found pairs for three of the socks in my hand- The bad news, I found MANY, Many more that were just floating along with no partner at all. Where do they all go? You all know what I'm talking about! But where are they? My house can be as clean as a whistle, and they still don't reappear! There must be a small family living between the walls that comes at night to get new sleeping bags...and they must have a wholelota girls who live pink!
At any given time of day, Maverick can be found soaking up the sunshine. I swear he has this house mapped out according to where the warmest sunlight will fall. In the morning he's in Deagan's room on the floor and by midday he's in the kitchen, and by the evening it comes right in the windows and shines up the stairs. He's like a little lizard!
yes, you read that right! It was 7:15 in the morning. Jeff and Olivia had just left for school and Deagan was begging me not to go back to sleep. So, for once, I gave in. In his jammies, he slipped on boots and a jacket and headed out back. Quite adorable I must say. Within five minutes he asked for a popsicle, I obliged. He's just so stinkin' cute!
My hot hubby olivia and deagan trying to run him over! playing hockey in the culdesac
Jeff and Deagan took off to the driveway to play a little hockey. Olivia joined them and then they both decided it would be fun to chase Daddy and see if they could hit him or run over the golf ball. It was a nice outlet after a mostly rainy weekend.
My name is Tricia Carter and this is the life in snidbits of the crazy Carter family. Jeff and I have been married for six years now and we have three amazing kids! Olivia is five and blossoming right before our eyes into a little lady, sweet and smart. Deagan is three and is crazy as can be. Tiny Tessa is growing bigger and more beautiful each day. We are so thankful to have three beautiful, healthy and happy children. I can't help but gush about them daily. I hope you enjoy following our lives.
